How to plant water lilies in an earth bottom pond  or natural pond

On the right we are showing how a water lily will over grow in the container.  If you plant lilies in a container and place them in a natural or earth bottom pond they will eventually climb out of the container and start growing in the pond.

These 3 pictures give an example on how to plant a Marliac lily rhizome  before placing in a natural or earth bottom pond.
